Renaissance Toronto Downtown Hotel appoints a new Director, Events & Conference Services

 

Vivian Bakerdjian

Vivian returns to the Larco Hospitality team from the Hilton Toronto Airport Hotel & Suites where she worked from August 2011 to September 2015, as the Director, Food & Beverage and Events & Catering, effective February 29, 2016.

Vivian brings with her 16 years of hotel industry experience, progressing in several positions in the Events field, starting in January 2000 to January 2002 as Events Manager at Toronto Marriott Bloor Yorkville.    She returned back to the same hotel in August 2003 as Events Manager and then progressed to Senior Events Manager where she worked from March 2006 to January 2007.    Other hotels she worked at include the InterContinental Hotel Yorkville, where she worked from January 2002 to May 2003 as Catering Sales & Services Manager.   She joined the Hilton brand in January 2007 and worked as a Senior Events Manager until February 2008 before progressing into her most recent position.

Vivian has completed studies majoring in Business Management from Ryerson Institute in Toronto, Ontario.
