Larco Hospitality is pleased to announce the appointment of Debra Rousseau to the position of Social Media Marketing Manager (Maternity Leave Contract), Richmond, BC effective, November 7, 2016 until November 10, 2017.
Debra joins us from Mountain Equipment Co-Op, Canada where she held the position of Social Media Marketing Specialist from 2012 to 2015. During her time there, she championed social media and technologies and created and implemented many successful social media programs. Prior to that, she was a Bilingual Web Content Developer from 2005 to 2012, and was a key player in introducing social media to the organization. This included the development of a change management strategy, while communicating the positive results during the implementation.
In her new role, based out of the Vancouver Airport Marriott, Debra will be responsible for creating, editing and publishing relevant, unique and targeted content on the social channels for the Sheraton Vancouver Airport and Hilton Vancouver Airport and their respective restaurants (Harold’s Bistro and CAVU Kitchen Bar) as well as the Vancouver Airport Marriott’s restaurant, American Grille. She will also monitor, listen and proactively contribute to online conversations with fans, followers and guests as the official digital voice for our Richmond social channels.
Debra has earned her Masters of Arts and Bachelor of Arts in Communications from L’Université Laval in Quebec City and recently became Google Analytics Certified.
