Mark McCue, Vice President, Design and Construction is pleased to announce the appointment of Shomari Powell to the position of Project Office Assistant, effective September 6, 2016 until September 5, 2017.
Shomari joins Larco Hospitality from his most recent position as a Junior Mechanical Engineer for MCW Consultant Ltd., Vancouver, BC, where he worked from January 2015 until April 2016. Prior to that, he worked as a Project/Commissioning Coordinator for CFMS Alberta Limited in Calgary, Alberta from May 2014 to November 2014. In May2012 to August 2014, Shomari was a Materials Technologist for Parkland Geotechnical Consulting in Red Deer, Alberta.
Shomari holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of British Columbia.
Shomari will be based out of the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver.
